This week's episode

Hear the argument.
Then settle it.

We're leaving for Universal Studios today, and the conversation naturally turned into what we're most excited about — Halloween Horror Nights. We cover our favorite foods around the park and at Universal's CityWalk, why Becca's dragging me to Disney even though I don't like it, and our absolute love for the Hard Rock Hotel — where we stay every time and why it's worth it.

Message in a bottle

Tell us where
we went wrong.

Voting is the verdict. This is the reasoning. Pitch us a topic, take a side, or tell Becka she's wrong — someone has to.

Vote first and your message carries your side with it.

Jason. Sweetheart. My son is 34 and he still gets a card with a twenty in it, and he still calls me to say thank you. That twenty is not about the twenty.

Finally someone said it. I have four of them and it's $80 a year in cash to people with better cars than mine. Becka, be serious.

Topic for you two: whose family gets Thanksgiving when both sides "always host." Been divorced nine years and it's still a negotiation. You'd be at each other for an hour.

Listened to this one twice in the Target parking lot. My husband is Jason and I am absolutely Becka and I'm not sure how I feel about being seen like this.

    Who's on board

    Two people,
one boat, and a lot of opinions.

We're Jason and Becka Duval. Eighteen years married, six grown kids between two previous marriages, and a spare room in New Hampshire that we filled with anchors and a neon sign.

Every Tuesday we sit in those two chairs and argue about something real — money, kids, in-laws, the thermostat — and try to find common ground before the recording stops. Sometimes we get there. Usually we don't.

That's where you come in. You're not the audience. You're the tiebreaker.

    • My husband and I fight about this every week

"We put it on during the drive home from daycare pickup and by the driveway we've picked a side. Weirdly the best marriage counseling we never paid for."

    • Finally, a couple that argues productively

"Every other relationship podcast is either too therapy-speak or too petty. This one somehow lands on funny AND fair."

    • Team Starboard forever

"Jason is wrong about the thermostat and I will die on this hill alongside Becka. Great show, questionable husband."
